Mikrofinance jako efektivní způsob tvorby pracovních míst v evropské unii

Abstract:

Milióny lidí žijí v chudobě a nemají přístup k základním službám. Existuje mnoho nástrojů a programů, které usilují o zmírnění chudoby a zlepšení postavení lidí s nízkými příjmy. Mikrofinancování poskytuje chudým lidem finanční služby, které jsou jim často nepřístupné v tradiční podobě. S pomocí institucí mikrofinancování (MFI) mohou šetřit, půjčovat si peníze nebo se pojišťovat. Rozsah finančních produktů poskytovaných měnovými finančními institucemi se rozšiřuje.Mikrofinancování je druh finančního zprostředkování ve formě malých transakcí mezi věřiteli a dlužníky.Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit vztah mezi rozvíjejícími se společnostmi a existencí trhu mikrofinancování v evropských zemích. Za tímto účelem používám údaje zveřejněné Eurostatem. Díky projektu demografického podnikání poskytovanému databází Eurostatu umožňuje podrobné posouzení narození podniků a vytváření pracovních míst ve všech zemích EU. Při uplatňování regresní analýzy se však nachází slabý vztah mezi nově vytvořenými pracovními místy a existencí trhu mikrofinancování v Evropě. To je vysvětleno malým počtem sledovaných zemí s úplnými údaji potřebnými k prokázání silnějšího vztahu.

Abstract:

Millions of people live in poverty and lack access to essential services. There are many tools and programs that seek to alleviate poverty and improve the status of low-income people. Microfinance provides poor people with financial services that are often inaccessible to them in their traditional form. With the help of Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), they can save, borrow money or insure themselves. The range of financial products provided by MFIs is expanding. Microfinance is a type of financial intermediation in the form of small transactions between creditors and borrowers. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the relationship between the emerging companies and the existence of the microfinance market across the European countries. To achieve this, I use data published by Eurostat. Thanks to the Business Demography Project provided by the Eurostat database, it enables a detailed assessment of the births of enterprises and job creation in all EU countries. However, when applying a regression analysis, I find a weak relationship between newly created jobs and the existence of a microfinance market in Europe. This is explained by the small number of countries surveyed with the full data needed to prove a stronger relationship.
