Possibilities and limits of a low-threshold facility for children and youth in the prevention of substance abuse

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na možnosti a limity nízkoprahového zařízení pro děti a mládež v prevenci užívání návykových látek. Cílem práce je zjistit, Jaké jsou možnosti a limity sociální práce v nízkoprahovém zařízení pro děti a mládež v tématice užívání návykových látek. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a výzkumnou. Teoretická část práce je rozčleněna do tří oblastí. Kapitoly pojednávají o popisu služby nízkoprahového zařízení pro děti a mládež, jeho historii a charakteristice. Dále je zde popsáno, jaké služby poskytuje a jaká je cílová skupina. Dále je pozornost směřována na téma návykové látky, jejich dělení, stádia, rizika užívání a nastínění nových trendů v užívání návykových látek. V poslední řadě je v diplomové práci popsána sociální práce v prevenci užívání návykových látek s uživateli nízkoprahového zařízení pro děti a mládež, kde byla pozornost věnována systému služeb sociální práce pro nezletilé uživatele návykových látek a metodám práce, které se s těmito klienty využívají. Druhá část této práce je věnována kvalitativnímu výzkumu. Zde je zakomponována metodika výzkumu, cíl výzkumu, metoda a strategie, technika sběru dat, způsob analýzy dat, popis výzkumného souboru a výběru respondentů a průběh výzkumu. Analýza dat je provedena metodou zakotvené teorie. Zdrojem těchto údajů bylo 7 polostrukturovaných rozhovorů.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the possibilities and limits of the Low-Threshold Facility for children and youth in the prevention of the use of addictive substances. The goal of the work is to find out what are the possibilities and limits of social work in the Low Threshold facility for children and youth in the topic of substance abuse. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and research. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into three areas. The chapters discuss the description of the service of the Low-Threshold Facility for children and youth, its history and characteristics. It also describes what services it provides and what the target group is. Furthermore, attention is directed to the subject of addictive substances, their division, stages, and risks of use and the outline of new trends in the use of addictive substances. Finally, the diploma thesis describes social work in the prevention of the use of addictive substances with users of the Low Threshold Facility for Children and Youth, where attention was paid to the system of social work services for minor users of addictive substances and the work methods used with these clients. The second part of this work is devoted to qualitative research. The research methodology, research objective, method and strategy, data collection technique, data analysis method, description of the research set and the selection of respondents and the research process are incorporated here. Data analysis is performed using the grounded theory method. The source of data was 7 semi-structured interviews.
