The importance of benefits and motivation in connection with the responsibilities of employee in the VŠE Event Centre

Abstract:

Lidé mají různé potřeby a motivace v práci, a proto je důležité, aby zaměstnavatelé poskytovali motivační faktory a benefity, které jsou pro zaměstnance relevantní a významné. Nedostatečné věnování pozornosti těmto potřebám může vést ke snížení spokojenosti a výkonnosti zaměstnanců. Tato práce se zabývá významem benefitů a motivace ve spojení s povinnostmi zaměstnance. Hlavním cílem práce je identifikovat jakým způsobem benefity ovlivňují motivaci zaměstnanců v Eventovém centru VŠE. Teoretická část je věnována povinnostem zaměstnance, benefitům, motivaci a event managementu. Praktická část práce je založena na rozhovorech se zaměstnanci Eventového centra VŠE, kde jsou analyzovány a interpretovány jejich odpovědi. Závěry práce poskytují informace o tom, jaké benefity jsou nejvíce oceňovány a jakým způsobem přispívají k motivaci zaměstnanců Eventového centra VŠE.

Abstract:

People have different needs and motivations at work, so it is important for employers to provide motivational factors and benefits that are relevant and meaningful to employees. Lack of attention to these needs can lead to reduced employee satisfaction and performance. This thesis deals with the importance of benefits and motivation in connection with the responsibilities of employee. The main goal of the work is to identify how benefits influence the motivation of employees in the VŠE Event Centre. The theoretical part is dedicated to responsibilities of employee, benefits, motivation and event management. The practical part of the work is based on interviews with employees of the VŠE Event Centre, where their answers are analysed and interpreted. The conclusions of the work provide information about which benefits are most appreciated and how they contribute to the motivation of employees of the VŠE Event Centre.
