Protective factors in university female students with a quarter life crisis

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem čtvrtživotní krize u vysokoškolských studentek a zkoumá protektivní faktory, které jim v této krizi pomáhají. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na vynořující se dospělost, čtvrtživotní krizi a protektivní faktory. Výzkumná část zahrnuje šest participantek, kterým byl polostrukturovaným rozhovorem položeny dotazy týkající se hlavních protektivních faktorů a způsobu prožívání čtvrtživotní krize. Jako výchozí metoda analýzy rozhovorů byla zvolena tematické analýza. Výsledkem analýzy byly čtyři hlavní témata protektivních faktorů, a to "Vize a hodnoty života", "Vlastní hodnocení a schopnosti", "Přístup k životu" a "Podpora a vztahy s blízkými". V diskusi jsou výsledky propojeny s teoretickým rámcem, ačkoli existuje omezený počet studií zaměřených přímo na protektivní faktory čtvrtživotní krize.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis examines the phenomenon of the quarter life crisis among female university students and explores the protective factors that help them during this crisis. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on emerging adulthood, the quarter life crisis, and protective factors. The research section includes six female participants who were interviewed using a semi-structured format, addressing the main protective factors and the experience of the quarter life crisis. Thematic analysis was chosen as the primary method for analyzing the interviews. The analysis revealed four main themes of protective factors: "Vision and life values," "Self-evaluation and abilities," "Approach to life," and "Support and relationships with close ones." The discussion section connects the findings with the theoretical framework, although there is a limited number of studies specifically focused on the protective factors of the quarter-life crisis.
