Physiotherapy of Shoulder Pain Syndrome in Tennis Players

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá bolestivým ramenem tenistů a použitím různých fyzioterapeutických metod. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je popsána kineziologii pletence ramenního, biomechanika, postižení pletence ramenního, léčba, metody fyzioterapie a vyšetření. Praktická část je zpracována formou kazuistik, která se skládá ze dvou pacientů a dvou odlišných diagnóz. Jedná se o diagnózu impingement syndrom a pooperační Slap lézi. Vyhledala jsem a použila různé metody, které odstraňují bolest, zvyšují rozsah pohybu a svalovou sílu. Výsledky naznačují, že použitím metody postizometrické relaxace se zvýší rozsah pohybu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis looks into the syndrome of a painful shoulder of some tennis players and using various physiotherapeutic techniques for treatment. This work is divided into teoretical and practical part. In the teoretical part I described the anatomy of a shoulder, its biomechanics and impairment. I also mentioned the correct screening of a shoulder, some methods of physical therapy and the impact on the treatment. The practical part is described by case interpretation of two different patients with different diagnosis. It´s about diagnosis of the impingement syndrome and post-operative Slap lesis. I tried to find and use different methods that would eliminate the pain and that would increase the range of motion and muscle strength. The result suggest that using the postizometric relaxation it improves the range of motion.
