Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je formou kazuistiky seznámit se specifiky péče o nemocného se Sanfilippo syndromem v domácím prostředí s ohledem na zatížení pečujícího. Práce se dále zabývá možnostmi poskytované péče v jednotlivých stádiích tohoto onemocnění a možnostmi pečovatele v přístupu k pacientovi. Teoretická část této práce obsahuje informace o samotném onemocnění mukopolysacharidózy, jenž vzniká v důsledku poruchy zpracovávání glykosaminoglykanů a patří mezi lysosomální onemocnění se střádáním. Jsou zde zmíněny jednotlivé typy a projevy mukopolysacharidóz. V práci jsou u Sanfilippo syndromu zmapovány podtypy, příznaky, výskyt, diagnostika a léčba tohoto onemocnění. Dále je v teoretické části zmíněna péče s ohledem na symptomy vyskytující se v určitých fázích nemoci, péče v domácím prostředí a zátěž pečovatele. Praktická část se zaměřuje přímo na nemocného s MPS IIIA. Popisuje vyskytující se příznaky a na nich závisející péči. Je zde poukázáno na psychosomatický vývoj pacienta, od doby stanovení diagnózy tohoto onemocnění až po současnost. Pozornost je věnována nejen péči o nemocného, ať už z hlediska stravy, hygieny, mobility, spánku, komunikace či dalších stránek, které jsou důležitým aspektem kvality života pacienta, ale také je zde zachycen přístup rodičů nemocného a jejich konfrontace s nemocí svého dítěte. Abstract:

The bachelor thesis aims to inform about the specifics of care of a patient with Sanfilippo syndrome in home environment with a focus to the caregiver burden using the method of a case study. The thesis also deals with the possibilities of provided care in individual stages of this disease and the possibilities of the caregiver in the approach to the patient. The theoretical part of this thesis contains information about the mucopolysaccharidosis disease itself, which arises due to a defect in the processing of glycosaminoglycans and is one of the lysosomal storage disorders. Individual types and manifestations of mucopolysaccharidosis are mentioned. The thesis describes Sanfilippo syndrome subtypes, symptoms, incidence, diagnosis and treatment of this disease. Furthermore, the theoretical part mentions how to take care of the patient according to the symptoms that occur during certain stages of the disease, home care and the burden of taking care of the patient (in general). The practical part focuses directly on the patient with MPS IIIA. It describes the occurring symptoms and the care that depends on these. Patient's psychosomatic development from the time of the diagnosis till the present is pointed out. Attention is paid not only to taking care of the patient, including the diet, hygiene, mobility, sleep, communication or other aspects important due to patient's life quality but also to how the parents deal with their child's disease.
