Častým problémem účetních jednotek je nejednoznačnost, nesystematičnost a nelogičnost vnitropodnikových směrnic. Některé směrnice organizacím dokonce chybí, některé postrádají stručnost nebo nejsou aktualizovány dle platných právních předpisů. Ambiguity, unsystematic character and illogicality are common problems in accounting units. Some organizations don´t have any necessary directives, some directives are lacking in brevity or they aren´t updated by valid statutory instruments.
