Mothers´ experiences with natural childbirth

Abstract:

ABSTRAKT Cíl: Cílem práce bylo zjistit, popsat a vyhodnotit poznatky o individuálních zkušenostech rodiček s přirozeným porodem. Metodika: Pro dosažení stanoveného cíle byl zvolen kvalitativní výzkum. Pro sběr dat byla použita metoda polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo sedm respondentek po přirozeném porodu. Respondentky byly vybrány metodou záměrného výběru. Před analýzou dat byla data zpracována metodou doslovné transkripce. Data byla analyzována metodou interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy s využitím metody otevřeného kódování a barvení textu. Výsledkem propojování témat a hledání souvislostí mezi nimi byl seznam významových, definitivních kategorií a podkategorií. Výsledky: Všechny respondentky přijely do porodnice s předem připraveným porodním plánem, který byl v naprosté většině splněn. Respondentky se shodly, že jejich zkušenosti s přirozeným porodem byly pozitivní, jak s průběhem porodu, tak s profesní oporou a oporou okolí. Negativně vnímaly zvýšený ruch při závěru porodu. Závěr: Výsledky mohou přispět k porozumění a pochopení individuálních zkušeností rodiček s přirozeným porodem. Diplomová práce může být přínosem pro kontinuální zlepšování péče o rodičky v nemocnici a posloužit k identifikaci faktorů, které mají na ženy při porodu vliv. Abstract:

ABSTRACT Objective: The aim of this work was to find out, describe and evaluate knowledge of individual experiences of mothers with natural childbirth. Methodology: The quality research was chosen to achieve the stated goal. The semi-structured interview method was used for data collection. The research sample consisted of seven respondents after natural childbirth. The respondents were selected by the method of ententional selection. Before data analysis, the data were processed by the literal trascription method. Data were analyzed by the method od interpretative phenomenological analysis using the open coding and coloring text method. The result of linking themes and finding connections between them was a list of meaning, definitive categories and subcategories. Results: All respondents arrived at the maternity hospital with a prepared birth plan, which was largely fulfilled. The respondents agreed that their experiences with natural childbirth were positive, both with giving birth and with the professional support and support of the surroundings. They negativitely perceived the increased interference at the end of giving birth. Conclusion: The thesis was to capture the experiences of women with natural childbirth, how they experienced it and what they perceived. The thesus should be beneficial for the continuous improvement of care for parents in the hospital, considering other factors that affect women in childbirth.
