Accounting and stock valuation in the chosen accounting unit

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou zásob, jejich evidencí a oceňováním. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny zejména základní pojmy zásob, dále tato práce nahlíží na aspekty účetnictví, které popisuje dílčí metody oceňování zásob, jejich evidenci, zabývá se změnami inventarizovaných zásob a způsoby účtování podle platných účetních předpisů. Praktická část je zaměřena na poznatky z teoretické části ve vybrané účetní jednotce, která je stručně charakterizována. Je zde popsán postup interního procesu řízení zásob a jejich evidence, jak účetní, tak skladové. Pro úplnost jsou v této části zahrnuty praktické příklady a procesy, dle kterých je v závěru provedena optimalizace evidence zásob spolu se zhodnocením současného postupu řízení zásob. V neposlední řadě jsou navrhnuta doporučení k zefektivnění a optimalizaci procesu dané společnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of inventory, their records and valuation. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts of inventories, it also looks at the aspects of accounting, which describes the partial methods of inventory valuation, their records, deals with changes in inventories and accounting methods according to applicable accounting regulations. The practical part is focused on the findings from the theoretical part in the selected entity, which is briefly characterized. It describes the procedure of the internal inventory management process and their records, both in accounting and inventory. For completeness, this section includes practical examples and processes according to which the optimization of inventory records is performed in the conclusion, together with an evaluation of the current inventory management process. Last but not least, recommendations are proposed to streamline and optimize the company's process.
