Perception of distance learning by high school students during the coronavirus crisis

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá středoškolskými studenty a jejich vnímáním distanční výuky, která byla zavedena vlivem pandemie koronaviru, jenž propukla v roce 2020. Práce je tradičně rozdělená na teoretickou a empirickou část. V teoretické části je jako první popsáno distanční vzdělávání a s ním související pojmy. Dále jsem přiblížila koronavirou krizi v kontextu se středoškolským vzděláváním, a nakonec vývojové období adolescence. V empirické části je popsána metodologie výzkumného šetření a interpretovány výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu, který byl proveden pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s respondenty. Z výzkumu vyplývají zásadní názory a pohledy studentů na distanční formu vzdělávání. Jedním z hlavních zjištění je způsob, jakým studenti vnímají přístup a postoj učitelů, který k nim a k realizaci distanční výuky zaujali. Další zjištění se odvíjí především od subjektivních pohledů jednotlivých studentů na faktory ovlivňující distanční výuku. Nejvýraznější faktor je sociální a pedagogická interakce.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with high school students and their perception of distance learning, which was introduced due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. The work is traditionally divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part first describes distance education and related concepts, then I approached the coronavirus crisis in the context of secondary education, and finally development period of adolescence. The empirical part describes the methodology of the research surveyed and interprets the results of qualitative research, which was conducted through a semi-structured interview with respondents. The research reveals the fundamental views and perspectives of students on the distance form of education. One of the main findings is, for example, how students perceive the approach and attitude of teachers to them, or to the realization of teaching in distance education. Other findings are based primarily on the subjective views of individual students on the factors influencing distance learning. The most significant factor is social and pedagogical interaction.
