Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je Management univerzitních galerií. Hlavním cílem této práce je popsat projektový management univerzitních galerií a co všechno zahrnuje plynulý chod galerie. První část práce definuje teoretické znalosti z oblasti umění, managementu v galeriích a jejich personálního a finančního řízení s přihlédnutím k možným rizikům. Teoretická část ústí do metodiky práce, která přibližuje cíle práce a zvolené výzkumné metody. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou respondentů, s nimiž byly vedeny hloubkové rozhovory týkající se univerzitních galerií na území České a Slovenské republiky. Druhou metodou je kvalitativní komparativní analýza, porovnávající dvě z oslovených galerií na základě předem stanovených kritérií, které autorka považuje za nejvíce relevantní. Na základě poznatků získaných z teoretické a praktické části autorka navrhne model strategického plánování univerzitních galerií tak, aby bylo dosaženo efektivního a úspěšného vedení galerie.

Abstract:

The author's theme of the diploma thesis is Management of university galleries. The main goal is to describe the project management of university galleries and what is involved in the smooth running of the gallery. The first part defines the theoretical knowledge of art, management in galleries and their personal and financial management taking into account the possible risks. The theoretical part leads to the methodology of work, which describes the goals of the work and selected research methods. The practical part deals with the ana-lysis of respondents with whom in-depth interviews concerning university galleries in the territory of the Slovak and Czech Republic were conducted. The second qualitative method is a comparative analysis comparing two of the addressed galleries based on further set criteria, which the author considers most relevant. Based on the knowledge gained in the theoretical and practical part, the author proposes a model of strategic planning of uni-versity galleries in the project part, so that no steps are left out and lead to a successful galery management.
