The role of coaching in social services

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá koučováním jako nástrojem sociální práce. Teoretická část seznamuje s veškerými termíny potřebnými k seznámení s touto problematikou. Konkrétně specifikuje termín sociální práce, sociální služby, pomáhající profese, supervize, sociální pracovník, etický kodex sociálního pracovníka, syndrom vyhoření u sociálního pracovníka, kompetence manažerů v sociálních službách a profesionální rozvoj zaměstnanců v sociální sféře. Dále práce specifikuje termíny koučování, základní pravidla koučování, základní principy koučování, manažer jako kouč, vnější bariéry koučování, vnitřní bariéry koučování, přínosy koučování a koučování v sociálních službách. V praktické části bakalářské práce je proveden výzkum, zacílený na zmapování toho jaká je reálná situace v oblasti koučování v konkrétních sociálních organizacích z vybrané oblasti, jak dané organizace koučování využívají, jaké mají zkušenosti a jaké vnímají přínosy koučování.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis deals with coaching as an instrument of social work. The theoretical part explains to us all the terms necessary to become familiar with this issue. Specifically, it specify the terms social work, social services, helping professions, supervision, social worker, the code of ethics of social worker, burnout syndrome amongst social workers, competence of managers in social services and professional development of employees in the social sphere. It also specify the terms of coaching, basic rules of coaching, basic principles of coaching, executive as a coach, external and internal barriers of coaching, the benefits of coaching and coaching in social services. The practical part contains a survey targeted at mapping of what the real situation in the field of coaching in specific social organizations from selected areas is, and what given coaching organization method they utilize, what is their experience and what are the perceived benefits of coaching from their perspective.
