Strategies of courier, express and parcel service providers in a period of economic recession and recovery
Abstract:
Práce zkoumá vliv hospodářské recese a oživení na volbu strategie KEB poskytovatelů a na změnu portfolia služeb. Dále se zaměřuje na vývoj logistického řetězce při narůstajícím objemu menších zásilek. Práce také analyzuje dopad hospodářské krize na zaměstnanost a obrat u vybraných poskytovatelů KEB služeb.
Abstract:
The thesis explores the influence of economic recession and recovery on strategy of courier, express and parcel service providers and on a change of the service portfolio. It then focuses on the development of the supply chain caused by increasing volume of small consignment. The thesis also analyzes the impact of the economic crisis on employment and turnover of selected service providers.
