Business plan for a restaurant in Prague location with a focus on beer products accompanied by meat dishes

Abstract:

Začínajícího podnikatele čeká vždy nelehká cesta s nejasným cílem. Podnikání stojí hodně energie, peněz a času. Aby tyto cenné zdroje byly vynaloženy efektivně, je třeba mít podnikatelský záměr velmi dobře rozmyšlený. Každý podnikatelský plán je velmi komplexní záležitost a není triviální takový plán sestavit bez chyb. Z toho důvodu začínající podnikatelé sestavují podnikatelský plán, který jim pomáhá se na celý podnikatelský záměr podívat s nadhledem, prozkoumat veškeré jeho části a udělat kvalifikované rozhodnutí, zda se samotná investice vyplatí. V této práci je sestavený rozbor podnikatelského plánu, který se zabývá veškerými základními součástmi potřebným pro kvalifikované rozhodnutí o investici. Práce obsahuje popis podnikatelské strategie, analýzu vnějšího prostředí i komplexní kalkulace. Podnikatelská strategie má strukturu marketingového mixu pro co nejefektivnější sestavení a předání celého plánu. Zároveň je práce doplněna o teorii objasňující veškeré její části. Tyto teoretické znalosti jsou poté aplikované na samotný podnikatelský plán. Samotný plán se zabývá založením restaurace v centru Prahy s orientací na pokrmy z masa doplněné i pivo. Cílem práce je dojít k závěru, zda je pro takový podnik v Praze vhodná lokalita a zda by byl podnik ziskový.

Abstract:

A budding entrepreneur always faces a difficult journey with an unclear goal. Entrepreneurship costs a lot of energy, money and time. To ensure that these valuable resources are spent effectively, the business plan needs to be well thought out. Any business plan is a very complex affair and it is not trivial to draw up such a plan without mistakes. For this reason, aspiring entrepreneurs draw up a business plan that helps them to look at the whole business plan with perspective, examine all its parts and make an informed decision whether the investment itself is worthwhile. In this paper, a business plan analysis is compiled that addresses all the essential components needed to make an informed investment decision. The thesis includes a description of the business strategy, an analysis of the external environment and a comprehensive costing. The business strategy has a marketing mix structure for the most effective compilation and delivery of the entire plan. At the same time, the thesis is supplemented with theory explaining all its parts. This theoretical knowledge is then applied to the business plan itself. The plan itself deals with the establishment of a restaurant in the centre of Prague with a focus on meat dishes complemented by beer. The aim of the thesis is to conclude whether there is a suitable location for such a business in Prague and whether the business would be profitable.
