Application of Knowledge Management in Ppublic Administration

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá uplatněním znalostního managementu ve veřejné správě. Vymezuje základní pojmy znalostního managementu, představuje základní typy znalostí a uvádí možnosti práce s těmito druhy znalostí. Seznamuje se znalostními strategiemi a uvádí metodiku KM-Beat-It jako jednu z možností zavedení znalostního managementu v organizaci. Práce se především věnuje uplatnění znalostního managementu ve veřejné správě i jeho praktickému uplatnění ve vybrané organizaci veřejné správy, konkrétně v tomto případě v České obchodní inspekci. Je zde nastíněn i můj návrh na implementaci metodiky KM-Beat-It v této organizaci. Mým cílem je zhodnotit uplatnění znalostního managementu ve vybrané organizaci veřejné správy, zdůraznit velkou důležitost potenciálu znalostí a pokusit se usnadnit orientaci ve velmi obsáhlé teorii problematiky znalostního managementu.

Abstract:

The Diploma Thesis deals with the application of the Knowledge Management in the Public Administration. It defines the basic concepts of the Knowledge Management, introduces the basic types of the knowledges and states the options of the work with these kinds of knowledges. It acquaints with the knowledge strategies and states the KM-Beat-It methodics as one of the options of the introduction of the Knowledge Management in the organization. The Diploma Thesis especially pursues the application of the Knowledge Management in the Public Administration and also its practical application in the selected organization of the Public Administration, specifically in this case in the Czech Trade Inspection Authority. My draft of the implementation of the KM-Beat-It methodics in this organization is also outlined here. My target is to evaluate the application of the Knowledge Management in the selected organization of the Public Administration, to highlight the great importance of the knowledges potential and to try to simplify the orientation in the very comprehensive theory of the Knowledge Management issue.
