Comparative Study of the Pyrotechnic Service of the Police of the Czech Republic and the Army of the Czech Republic

Anotace:

V práci je provedena komparativní analýza technického vybavení pyrotechnické služby Policie České republiky a Armády České republiky. Zaměření je orientováno na pyrotechnické roboty a ochranné obleky, které tvoří klíčovou součást výbavy těchto specializovaných jednotek. V teoretické části jsou popsány legislativní předpisy, struktura pyrotechnických složek a technicko-taktické charakteristiky vybraných prostředků. Praktická část je realizována formou kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření mezi příslušníky jednotlivých složek. Výsledky byly zpracovány pomocí deskriptivní statistiky a slouží k porovnání spokojenosti uživatelů s jednotlivými zařízeními. Zjištěné rozdíly v konstrukčních řešeních, uživatelském komfortu i vnímání efektivity zařízení umožňují formulaci návrhů na zefektivnění pyrotechnické činnosti v obou strukturách.

Abstract:

A comparative analysis of the technical equipment of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service of the Police of the Czech Republic and the Army of the Czech Republic is carried out in the thesis. The focus is placed on EOD robots and protective suits, which represent a key part of the equipment of these specialized units. The theoretical part describes legislative regulations, the structure of EOD units and technical and tactical characteristics of selected equipment. The practical part is carried out in the form of a quantitative questionnaire survey among members of the respective units. The results were processed using descriptive statistics and are used to compare user satisfaction with the equipment. The identified differences in design, user comfort and perceived effectiveness of the equipment make it possible to formulate proposals for improving EOD activities in both structures.
