Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku konfliktních minerálů v oblasti východoafrických Velkých jezer a jejich geopolitické souvislosti. Zabývá se významem konfliktních minerálů a problematikou spojenou s těžbou a obchodem. Popisuje téma z různých úhlů pohledů a klade důraz na Demokratickou republiku Kongo. Orientuje se na didaktickou transformaci získaných poznatků pro využití na středních školách. Cílem práce je zmapovat problematiku a na jejich základě vytvořit projektovou výuku, která je vhodná pro výuku na střední škole.

Abstract:

This master's thesis focuses on the issue of conflict minerals in the East African Great Lakes region and their geopolitical context. it examines the significance of conflict minerals and the problems associated with their mining and trade. the thesis describes the topic from various perspectives, placing particular emphasis on the Democratic Republic of Congo. it also focuses on the didactic transformation of the acquired findings for use in high schools. the aim of the thesis is to map the issue and based on the findings, create a project-based learning framework suitable for high school education.
