The Clarinet and Clarinettist in the Orchestral Practice

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je pojednání o klarinetu a metodika orchestrální hry. Práce je členěna do samostatných kapitol, které popisují klarinet a nástroje jemu příbuzné, dále se zabývají otázkami, které se týkají problematiky hráče na klarinet v orchestru. Na závěr je metodicky rozebráno několik orchestrálních sól, které bývají zadávány u konkursu. V textu práce jsou vloženy notové příklady, které se vážou k probírané problematice. Příloha obsahuje další příklady notových materiálů, obrázky z historie klarinetu, obrázky typů klarinetů a klarinetových hubiček.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the treatise on clarinet and the methodology of the orchestral play. The thesis is sectioned into several separated chapters. These parts are describing clarinet and other musical instruments which are related to it. The thesis also focuses on the questions about the problems of clarinetist in the orchestra. I analyzed a few orchestral solos systematically at the end of my thesis. These solos are often required during the auditions. There are the music examples, which are connected to the discussed problems, in the text of my thesis and the appendix contains other examples of music materials, pictures of the clarinet history, pictures of clarinet types and the clarinet mouthpieces.
