Manganese in the assimilation apparatus of forest tree species and its monitoring in the Eastern Krušnohoří

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá dynamikou změny obsahu manganu během vegetačního období a stupněm akumulace v asimilačních a dalších orgánech vybraných druhů dřevin a jeho monitoringem v Krušnohoří. Šetření se soustředilo na trvalou výzkumnou plochu s vysokým obsahem manganu v půdě na úpatí Krušných hor (S: 50° 37' 03,80''; V: 13° 37' 25,17''). Během vegetačních období (20102013) byly odebírány různé části dřevin (borka, listy, plody). U většiny dřevin dochází v asimilačním aparátu k akumulaci manganu až na úroveň 6428 mg.kg-1 (jehličí Larix decidua), 6297 mg.kg-1 (listy Betula pendula), která převyšuje obsah v lýku a kůře. U Prunus avium byl vyšší obsah Mn v kůře a lýku (3925 mg.kg-1) než v listech (2188 mg.kg-1). V roce 2013 se uskutečnil monitoring úrovně manganu na modelových dřevinách Betula pendula a Fagus sylvatica ve východním Krušnohoří a Děčínské vrchovině. Nejvyšší obsah manganu byl stanoven v transektu Litvínov 500 m n.m.: Fagus sylvatica 7257 mg.kg-1, Betula pendula 6562 mg.kg-1, naopak nejmenší v transektu Litvínov (900 m n.m.) (212 mg.kg-1), u Fagus sylvatica v Tisé 600 m n.m. (127 mg.kg-1).

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the dynamics of change in the content of manganese during the growing season. The degree of it's accumulation in assimilative and other organs of selected tree species and it's monitoring in the Ore Mountains. The survey was focused on the permanent research area with high content of manganese in the soil at foot of the Ore mountains. During the growing period (20102013) were collected different parts of trees (bark, fruits, leaves). In most of tree species occurs accumulation of manganese in assimilation apparatus up to level 6428 mg.kg-1 (needles of Larix decidua), 6297 mg.kg-1 (leaves of Betula pendula), that exceeds the content in phloem and bark. Prunus avium had higher Mn content in bark and phloem (3925 mg.kg-1) than in leaves (2188 mg.kg-1). In 2013 was conducted monitoring of Mn level in model tree species Betula pendula and Fagus sylvatica in the east of Ore mountain and Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The highest manganese content was determined in Litvinov transect 500 m.a.s.l.: Fagus sylvatica 7257 mg.kg-1, Betula pendula 6562 mg.kg-1, while the smallest in Litvinov transect 900 m.a.s.l. (212 mg.kg-1), Fagus sylvatica in Tisá 600 m.a.s.l. (127 mg.kg-1).
