Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem Volnočasové aktivity dětí romského etnika v Ústeckém kraji a jejich možnosti realizovat své zájmy je zaměřena na volný čas dětí romského etnika, které navštěvují základní školy v Ústeckém kraji, v komparaci s dětmi majoritní populace. Teoretická část obsahuje úvod do problematiky volného času a volnočasových aktivit. Je zde vymezena charakteristika volného času, popsáno výchovné zhodnocování volného času, zařízení pro výchovu mimo vyučování a druhy volnočasových aktivit. Následně se práce zabývá problematikou výchovy a vzdělávání dětí romského etnika. Popisuje přístup romské rodiny ke vzdělávání, specifika výchovy a vzdělávání romských dětí, sociálně vyloučené lokality a nízkoprahová zařízení pro děti a mládež. Praktická část byla realizována ve čtyřech vybraných základních školách v Ústeckém kraji u žáků osmých a devátých ročníků. Zabývá se volnočasovými aktivitami dětí romského etnika a porovnává je se souborem dětí majoritní populace. K nejdůležitějším výsledkům patří zjištění, že ve volnočasových aktivitách se životní styl dětí romského etnika a majoritní populace oproti předchozím výzkumům sbližuje. Zvýšenou pozornost je třeba věnovat spolupráci školy s rodiči dětí romského etnika, aby více podporovali vzdělanostní a osobnostní rozvoj svých dětí.

Abstract:

The thesis ? Leisure Time Activities of the Romany Children in the Region Ústí nad Labem and the Chances to Realize their Hobbies and Interests ? deals with the leisure time of Romany children which go to school in the Region Ústí nad Labem in comparison with children from the majority population. The theoretical part contents the introduction of leisure time issues and leisure time activities. Firstly a definition and characterictics of leisure time are specified, secondly the educational appreciation of leisure time and the after-school institutions or centres and the varieties of leisure time activities are depicted. Then the thesis looks into specific problems of Romany children?s education and it describes attitudes of Romany family to education, socially excluded Roma localities and low-threshold institutions for children and young people. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the survey at the four chosen primary schools in the Region Ústí nad Labem. It includes the second stage pupils of the eighth and ninth grades and deals with leisure time activities of Romany children and compares them with the representative sample of children from the majority population. One of the most important conclusion is that the lifestyle of Romany children in the case of leisure time activitires becomes closer to the one of children from the majority population contrary to previous researches. It is very important to pay attention to the closer cooperation with school and the parents of Romany children so that the families woud be able to encourage more the educational and personal development of their children.
