The attitudes of college students to family life and career.

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zjistit, jaké jsou postoje vysokoškolských studentek na FSE UJEP, prezenční formy studia, k rodinnému životu a ke kariéře, v závislosti na odlišném studijním oboru. Hlavní výzkumná otázka zjišťuje, zda existuje závislost mezi studovaným oborem a preferencí rodiny či kariéry. K dosažení výsledků byly použity metody popisné statistiky, testů jako X2 test nezávislosti, Kruskal Wallis a Friedmanova anova. Zjistilo se, že existují významné rozdíly mezi obory, co se týče kariéry a rodinného života. Studentky Ekonomiky a managementu se přiklánějí více ke kariéře a pracovnímu úspěchu, zatímco studentky z oboru Sociální práce preferují rodinný život.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to find out, what are attitudes of university students at FSE, UJEP, full-time study, to family life and career depending on the different subject-area. The main question identifies if there is a influence between the subject area and preferences. For the result was used descriptive statistics and tests as X2 , Kruskal Wallis or Friedman test. It was found, that there are differences between subject in terms of family life and career. Students of Economic and Management are more inclined to career and work success, while students of Social work prefer family life.
