The relationship between cognitive performance and graphomotor manifestation in children

Abstract:

Tato práce byla napsána v rámci projektu GA18-1635s – Výzkum pokročilých metod diagnózy a hodnocení vývojové dysgrafie založených na kvantitativní analýze online písma a kresby, který se zabývá zkvalitnění diagnózy dysgrafie. Cílem této práce bylo srovnat výsledky subjektivního hodnocení grafomotorických úkolů. Pomocí těchto úkolů nebyl zkoumán pouze grafomotorický projev, ale i krátkodobá paměť. Zkou-mané osoby měly za úkol nejprve překreslit obrazec do mřížky s vodícími body podle předlohy a poté z paměti. Subjektivní hodnocení bylo srovnáváno s parametry získa-nými z grafického tabletu. Korelace mezi hodnoceními byla slabá až středně silná. V rámci analýzy jsem porovnávala věkové skupiny a došla k závěru, že k nejprudšímu vývoji dochází u dětí ve věku mezi šesti a sedmi až osmi a devíti roky. Rozdíly mezi dysgrafiky a dětmi s normálním výkonem nebyly příliš markantní. Nejzásadněji se lišili v dráze hrotu pera nad podložkou.

Abstract:

This thesis was written as part of the GA18-1635s project - Research into advanced methods for the diagnosis and assessment of developmental dysgraphia based on quantitative analysis of online writing and drawing, which aims to improve the di-agnosis of dysgraphia. The aim of this work was to compare the results of a subjec-tive evaluation of graphomotor tasks. Using these tasks, not only graphomotor ex-pression but also short-term memory was examined. Subjects were asked to first redraw a figure on a grid with guide points according to a template and then from memory. Subjective evaluation was compared with the parameters obtained from the graphic tablet. The correlation between ratings was weak to moderate. I com-pared the age groups in the analysis and concluded that the most rapid develop-ment occurs in children between the ages of six and seven and eight and nine. The differences between dysgraphics and children with normal performance were not very marked. The most significant difference was in the trajectory of the pen tip in air.
