Aspects of changes in demographic development in the Vyškov region and their conse-quences for health capital

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení demografického vývoje za pomoci vy-braných ukazatelů struktury a dynamiky v okresu Vyškov v období let 2009–2018. Ná-sledně jsou výsledky analýzy provázány s kvalitou zdravotního kapitálu. Pro dosažení tohoto cíle jsou použity metody analýzy časových řad a demografické analýzy a analýzy slovních znaků, syntézy a komparace. Obyvatelstvo na Vyškovsku demograficky stárne, mění se struktura vzdělanosti v okrese směrem k zvyšování podílu těch, kteří mají matu-ritu a vyšší vzdělávání. Aspekty společnosti jako její stárnutí a zvyšování vzdělanosti se podepisují na zdravotních faktorech a životním stylu obyvatel. Věk ovlivňuje negativně a úroveň dosaženého vzdělání naopak působí pozitivně a na počet zdravotních problé-mů, četnost pravidelných prohlídek, kouření či konzumaci alkoholu. Vliv pohlaví se pro-jevuje odlišně na sebehodnocení zdravotního stavu. Demografické faktory tvoří stěžejní základ pro informovanost o dané populaci, jejím vývoji a zdravotním stavu. Jsou záro-veň nezbytné pro formulaci strategií rozvoje na různé regionální úrovni a pro tvorbu so-ciálních a zdravotních politik

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the evaluation of demographic development with the help of selected indicators of structure and dynamics in the Vyškov district in the period 2009–2018. Subsequently, the results of the analysis are linked to the quality of health capital. To achieve this goal, methods of time series analysis and demographic analysis, ques-tionnaire survey and analysis of word characters, synthesis and comparison are used. The population in the Vyškov region is demographically aging, the structure of educa-tion in the district is changing towards increasing the share of those who have a high school diploma and higher education. Aspects of society, such as its aging and increas-ing education, are influenced by the health factors and lifestyle of the population. Age as well as the level of achieved education positively and negatively affects the number of health problems, the frequency of regular check-ups, smoking or alcohol consump-tion. Gender causes different self-esteem of health. Demographic factors form a key basis for awareness of a given population, its development and health status. And they are necessary for the formulation of social and health policies.
