Küng's Project "World Ethos" and His Reflection in the Czech Lands

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá reflexí Küngova projektu ?Světový étos? v českých zemích. Na začátku práce je velmi stručně přiblížen životopis Hanse Künga. Dále jsou zde rozebrána a vysvětlena některá Küngova ideová východiska, zejména vztah práva a étosu; vztah náboženství a étosu. V této práci jsou taktéž přiblížena Küngova díla, která se zabývají tématem světového étosu. Je zde představena Nadace Světový étos. Dále zde jsou představeny aktivity spojené s projektem Světový étos v České republice, největší pozornost je věnována Nadaci Světový étos ? Centrum Prokopios. Stěžejní kapitola je věnována reakcím na již zmíněný projekt. Jsou zde zpracovány všechny druhy reakcí ? od zaujatě kladných přes neutrální až po zaujatě záporné. Závěr práce je věnován analýze těchto ohlasů a vlastním závěrům.

Abstract:

The submitted bachelor´s work deals with the reflexion of Küng´s project ?The Global Ethic? in Czech countries. At the beginning of this work is very briefly described Hans Küng´s biography. Further there are analysed and explained some of Hans Küng´s ideological fundaments, particularly the relationship between law and ethic; the relationship between religion and ethic. In this work there are also sketched some of Hans Küng´s works, which deal with the issue Global Ethic. The Global Ethic Foundation is presented here. Further there are introduced the activities that have something in common with the project "Global Ethic" in the Czech Republic - the special attention is paid to The Global Ethic Foundation ? The Centre ?Prokopios?. The pivotal chapter follows the reactions of the mentioned project. All kinds of reactions are put together here ? from raptly positive over neutral to raptly negative. The end of the work pursues the analysis of these responses and my own conclusions.
