Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce je analýza změn sovereign ratingů v letech 2010-2013. První dvě části práce poskytují informace, které popisují základní charakteristiky externího ratingu a samotných ratingových agentur. Definují, jak základní pojmy, tak výchozí situaci ratingového průmyslu. Analytická část porovnává změny v hodnotách a rozdílech ratingových známek udělených agenturami Moody's a Standard & Poor's na začátku a konci období. Pomocí dalších rozborů hledá základní determinanty koncového stavu. Hodnotí, jsou-li rozdíly v hodnoceních závislé na ekonomické úrovni a integraci. V neposlední řadě se snaží odhadnout sílu reakce mezi změnami ratingu jednotlivých agentur.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is the analysis of changes in sovereign ratings during 2010-2013. The first two chapters provide general pieces of information about basic characteristics of external credit ratings and credit rating agencies. It defines both basic terms and the initial situation of the rating industry. The analytical part compares the changes in values and differences of marks awarded by the rating agencies Moody's and Standard & Poor's at the beginning and at the end of the period. With further analysis seeks fundamental determinants of the final state. Evaluate if differences in scores depend on the economic level and integration. Finally, the thesis tries to estimate the strength of the reaction between changes in ratings of particular agencies.
