The dissertation summarizes up-to-date knowledge about cervical cancer etiology, its therapy and about available preventive precautions. A significant stress has been put on the vaccination against papillomaviruses (HPV). The empirical part informs about the results of a research anmong randomly selected women (aged 15-25 yrs).
