Tato práce se zabývá teoriemi, které vnímají prostorovou decentralizaci jako nedílnou součást řešení environmentální krize, případně problémů soudobého osídlení. Popisuje výhrady vůči koncentrovanému osídlení a s tím spojené meziválečné regionální plánování, myšlenky na polycentrické osídlení či bioregionalismus. The thesis deals with theories that see spatial decentralization as ideal base for the solution of environmental crisis or other problems of current human settlement. The thesis mentions criticism of concentrated settlement as rooted in ideas concerning regional planning, polycentric settlement or bioregionalism.
