Proposal for the development of the Integrated Transport System of the South Bohemian Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi rozvoje Integrovaného dopravního systému Jihočeského kraje v budoucnosti. Teoretická část popisuje a analyzuje současný stav IDS v České republice i v Jihočeském kraji. Návrhová část pak pojednává o návrzích na zlepšení současného stavu. IDS je řešen komplexně jako celek. Návrhy se týkají zavedení nových zón, rozšíření IDS o nové území včetně přesahů do sousedních krajů, mezinárodní spolupráce, změnám ve způsobu odbavení cestujících a doporučení k vylepšení zákaznického servisu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of development of the Integrated Transport System of the South Bohemian Region in the future. The theoretical part describes and analyzes the current state of ITS's in the Czech Republic and in the South Bohemian region. The design part then discusses proposals to improve the current situation. ITS is solved comprehensively as a whole. The proposals concern the introduction of new zones, the extension of ITS to new territories, including overlaps with neighboring regions, international cooperation, changes in the way passengers are checked in and recommendations for improving customer service.
