Nádorový supresor p53 hraje důležitou roli v regulaci řady buněčných funkcí. Při jeho nedostatku může dojít ke vzniku rakoviny a naopak při jeho nadbytku může být indukována apoptóza. Abstract:
Tumor suppressor p53 plays an important role in the regulation of many cell functions. Insufficient levels of p53 can lead to development of cancer and on the contrary, its overexpression may induce apoptosis. Therefore activity of p53 must be really strictly regulated.
