Práce pojednává o dvou románech současných kanadských autorek: Surfacing spisovatelky Margaret Atwood, který byl vydán v roce 1972, a Wild Stone Heart: An Apprentice in the Fields Sharon Butaly, publikovaném v roce 2000. Abstract:
The thesis elaborates on two novels by contemporary Canadian female writers: Margaret Atwood’s Surfacing, published in 1972, as well as Sharon Butala’s Wild Stone Heart: An Apprentice in the Fields, published in 2000.
