Optimization of logistic processes in a smal enterprise

Abstract:

This thesis deals with logistic processes in a small enterprise, and with options to optimize these processes. It starts with theoretical part outlining the basics of logistics, the objectives and goals and processes within logistics. It focuses on outsourcing as one of potential options to optimize logistic processes. The practical part of the thesis follows the theoretical one by analyzing logistics of a particular company ALFA, in the fourth chapter. The fifth chapter then summarizes possibilities of outsourcing by cooperating with a courier company, and the last sixth chapter provides proposals on how to optimize the logistic process in company ALFA. The final part of the thesis summarizes the findings and results.

Abstract:

Táto bakalárska práca sa venuje téme logistických procesov v malom podniku a možnostiam ich optimalizácie. V teoretickej časti práce sú definované základné pojmy logistiky, jej úlohy a ciele, ale aj hmotné a nehmotné operácie v logistike. Ďalej sa práca venuje outsourcingu, ako jednej z možností optimalizácie logistických služieb. Praktická časť bakalárskej práce nadväzuje na teoretickú časť a rozoberá tému logistiky v konkrétnom podniku. Štvrtá kapitola tejto práce popisuje logistické operácie v spoločnosti ALFA, v piatej kapitole sú zhrnuté možnosti outsourcingovej spolupráce cez kuriérsku spoločnosť a v poslednej šiestej kapitole sú popísané návrhy optimalizácie logistických procesov pre túto spoločnosť. Záver práce predstavuje zhrnutie výsledkov bakalárskej práce.
