Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem mezi používáním sociálních sítí, problematickým používáním smartphonu a míry deprese u dospívajících. V rámci teoretické části se snaží přehledně prezentovat dosavadní znalosti v této oblasti. Pomocí statistické analýzy se snažíme zjistit těsnost vztahu mezi dobou strávenou na sociálních sítích, problematickým používáním smartphonu a míry deprese, také v závislosti na pohlaví. Tyto jevy jsou poté ověřovány i v kontextu používání sociálních sítích zaměřených primárně na komunikaci a těch zaměřených více na zábavu a relaxaci.

Abstract:

This thesis examines the relationship between social media use, problematic smartphone use, and depression levels in adolescents. As part of the theoretical part, it tries to clearly present the existing knowledge in this area. Using statistical analysis, we try to find out the tightness of the relationship between the time spent on social medias, problematic smartphone use and the level of depression, also depending on gender. These phenomena are then verified in the context of the use of social networks focused primarily on communication and those focused more on entertainment and relaxation.
