Abstract:

Úvod: Schizofrenie je závažné psychické onemocnění multifaktoriálního původu, jehož etiologie není dosud přesně objasněna. Cílem práce byla analýza vybraných rizikových faktorů, které mohou hrát roli pro vznik a vývoj schizofrenie. Materiál a metody: V práci jsou zpracovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření získaného v rámci výzkumného grantového projektu IGA Ministerstva zdravotnictví ČR (NT 14504-3) Epidemiologie a genetika schizofrenie. Data byla zpracována u 407 pacientů s diagnózou schizofrenie a 408 kontrolních osob bez psychiatrické diagnózy. Otázky dotazníku byly zaměřeny na čtyři okruhy týkající se osobních údajů, období před vznikem onemocnění, důležitých údajů z dětství a životního stylu. Výsledky: Z otázek byl mezi sledovanými soubory zjištěn statisticky významný rozdíl u celé řady sledovaných parametrů. Byl nalezen statisticky významný rozdíl v užívání návykových látek. Užívání marihuany uvedlo 54,1 % případů a 19,5 % kontrol. Dále ve sledovaném souboru uvedlo komplikace v těhotenství matky 30,2 % dotázaných a 5,8 % kontrol. Závěr: V předložené práci byl nalezen statisticky významný rozdíl v přítomnosti užívání návykových látek, prenatálních a perinatálních komplikací, prožití významných stresujících událostí v životě.

Abstract:

Introduction: Schizophrenia is a serious psychotic illness with multifactorial origin with unexplained etiology. The aim of this study was an analysis of selected risk factors which can play role in the origin and progress of schizophrenia. Material and methods: In this work were processed the results of questionnaires obtained in research project supported by grant of the Internal Grant Agency of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic (reg. n.: NT 14504-3): Epidemiology and genetics of schizophrenia. The dataset consists of 407 patients with diagnosed schizophrenia and 408 controls without any psychiatric diagnose. The questions in the questionnaire were divided in four fields aimed at personal data, the period before onset of the illness, important information from childhood and lifestyle. Results: After the analysis of the questionnaires was found a statistically significant difference between the cohorts in some parameters. The use of marihuana was listed by 54,1% of patients and by 19,5% of controls. Furthermore, complications during the pregnancy of their mother listed 30,2% patients and 5,8% of controls. Conclusion: In this study was found a statistically significant difference between the cohorts in use of drugs, prenatal and perinatal complications and in presence of stressful events in their lives.
