Physiotherapy for patients with transverse spinal cord lesion in the chronic stage

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá negativním dopadem sedavého způsobu života pacienta po TLM na jeho pohybový aparát a tělesné soustavy se současným uvedením možných způsobů fyzioterapie, určených ke zmírnění daných problémů. Je rozdělena do dvou částí teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část popisuje způsob, jakým může poškození míchy vzniknout a tato poškození rozděluje a specifikuje do určitých skupin. Dále jsou zde zahrnuty možné základní klinické obrazy, ke kterým při poškození míchy dochází. Součástí teoretické části jsou také konkrétní zdravotní problémy a jejich možné ovlivnění z pohledu fyzioterapie. V praktické části této bakalářské práce jsou podrobně zpracovány 2 kazuistiky pacientů po TLM (transverzální léze míšní). Každá z kazuistik obsahuje anamnézu, vstupní a závěrečné vyšetření. Jejich součástí je vždy popsání konkrétního přístupu k pacientovi a shrnuta společná práce. Cílem práce je nalezení správných terapeutických metod k ovlivnění konkrétních problémů. Závěrem této práce uvádím použité zdroje, seznam tabulek a příloh.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the negative impact of sedentary lifestyle TLM patients at their musculoskeletal system and internal systems and possible ways of physiotherapy, designed to alleviate these problems. It is divided in two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the way of spinal cord damage may occur, distributes and specifies spinal lesion into certain groups. There are also included basic clinical images, which occurs when the spinal cord damages. The theoretical part also specifies health problems and possible ways how to deal with them in terms of physiotherapy. In the practical part of this thesis there are elaborated two case reports of TLM (transversal spinal lesion) patients. Each of these case studies includes a medical history, initial and final examinations. Their part is always describe a particular approach to the patient, and summarized the common work. The aim is to find the right therapeutic methods to influence specific problems. In the end are the used sources, the list of tables and abbreviations.
