Physiotherapy in clients with diagnosis hallux valgus

Abstract:

Úvod: Bakalářská práce uvádí do problematiky onemocnění nazývané hallux valgus a věnuje se především jeho konzervativní terapii. Cíl práce: Cílem bakalářské práce je přispět k řešení problematiky fyzioterapie u pacienta s diagnózou hallux valgus. Metodika: Hlavní část práce tvořilo 8 terapeutických jednotek, které byly vytvořeny na základě vstupního kineziologického vyšetření. Vyšetření poskytlo důležité informace o zdravotním stavu pacienta, díky kterým se mohl stanovit krátkodobý fyzioterapeutický plán určující náplň jednotlivých terapeutických jednotek. Každá jednotka probíhala vždy jednou za týden po dobu 60 - 70 minut a zahrnovala uvolňovací, protahovací a cvičící část. Na cvičení byly zvoleny koncepty, které pracují s hlubokým stabilizačním systémem (DNS, ACT, senzomotorická stimulace) a jiné další koncepty, jako je PNF, Spiraldynamik?, Dornova metoda a cviky dle Klappa, které ovlivňují dané onemocnění. Na uvolnění měkkých tkáních a obnovu kloubní vůle byly použity měkké techniky, míčkování, trakce, mobilizace a PIR. Součástí byla i autoterapie, kterou by měl pacient provozovat každý den doma a skládala se ze cviků, možných podpůrných opatření a korekční pomůcky. Výsledky: Působením terapeutické intervence došlo ke zmírnění bolestí i nepříjemného tlaku palce a úhel valgozity palce se zmenšil. Závěr: Konzervativní terapie potvrdila svou účinnost a pozitivně ovlivnila jak subjektivní, tak i objektivní příznaky daného onemocnění.

Abstract:

Introduction: The bachelor thesis introduces the problem of the disease called hallux valgus and focuses mainly on it´s conservative therapy. The objective: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to contribute to solving the problem of physiotherapy in a patient with a diagnosis of hallux valgus. Methodology: The practical part included 8 therapeutic units, which were created on the basis of the initial kinesiological analysis. The analysis provided important information about the patient's health condition, which allowed to define a short-term physiotherapy plan determining the content of each therapeutic treatments. Each therapeutic treatment was conducted once a week for 60 to 70 minutes and included a relaxation, stretching and exercise part. Concepts that work with the deep stabilization system (DNS, ACT, sensomotor stimulation) and other concepts such as PNF, Spiraldynamics?, Dorn's method and Klappa exercises were chosen for the exercises that affect the disease. Soft tissue techniques, balling, traction, mobilization and PIR were used to release soft structures and restore joint play. It also included self-therapy, which the patient would practice every day at home and included exercises, possible supportive actions and corrective tool. Results: The therapeutic intervention relieved the pain and unpleasant pressure of the thumb and the angle of the deviated thumb was reduced. Conclusion: Conservative therapy has proved it´s effectiveness and positively affected both subjective and objective symptoms of the disease.
