V této diplomové práci jsem se zabývala chromozomálním proteinem HMGB1 a proteinem HMGB2. Tyto proteiny patří do skupiny vysoce mobilních proteinů (HMG proteins). Mají vliv na rozličné procesy v buňce, jako jsou např. transkripce, replikace, rekombinace nebo oprava DNA. Jedním z důvodů zájmu o protein HMGB1 je zvýšená exprese jeho genu v nádorových buňkách. Abstract:
In this diploma thesis we examined chromosomal protein HMGB1 and protein HMGB2. These proteins are members of a large superfamily of HMG proteins. HMG proteins affect transcription, DNA replication, recombination or DNA repair. One result of interest in HMGB1 protein is higher expression in cancer cell.
