Impact of the pandemic on education policy (with a focus on secondary education)

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké změny vyvolal přechod z prezenční formy výuky na distanční formu na sekundárním stupni vzdělávání ve vybraném kraji v době pandemie. Prvním dílčím cílem práce je zjistit, jak gymnázia reagovala na přechod z prezenční na distanční formu výuky a jakým způsobem se podílel zřizovatel gymnázií. Druhým dílčím cílem práce je zaměřit se na zjištění, jak vysoké byly finanční náklady spojené s realizací distanční výuky na gymnáziích v Jihomoravském kraji. V rámci teoretické části je popsán systém vzdělávání obecně v celé České republice. V analytické části je proveden kvantitativní a kvalitativní výzkum. Kvantitativní výzkum má podobu dotazníkového šetření a je zobrazen formou grafů. Kvalitativní výzkum má podobu rozhovoru s vedoucím odboru školství krajského úřadu.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to find out what changes caused the transition from the full-time form of teaching to the distance form at the seconda-ry level of education in the selected region during the pandemic. The first partial goal of the thesis is to find out how the grammar schools reacted to the transition from the full-time to distance learning and how the founder of the grammar schools participated. The second par-tial goal of the thesis is to focus on finding out how high the financial costs were associated with the implementation of distance learning at the grammar schools in the South Moravian Region. The theoretical part describes the education system in general throughout the Czech Republic. A quantitative and qualitative research is carried out in the analytical part. The quantitative research takes the form of a questi-onnaire survey and is shown in the form of charts. The qualitative re-search takes the form of an interview with the head of the education department of the regional office.
