Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na interpretaci archetypu šprýmaře v knize Fredericka Douglasse Vyprávění o životě Fredericka Douglasse, amerického otroka, dále v románu Ralpha Ellisona, Neviditelný, a v díle Toni Morrison, Sula. Porovnává různá vyobrazení šprýmaře v těchto knihách, přičemž se soustřeďuje na čtyři vlastnosti šprýmaře - překračování hranic, vzdorování binární opozici, apetit a oběta …moreAbstract:
This diploma thesis focuses on the interpretation of the trickster archetype in Frederick Douglass's Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave, Written by Himself, in Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man, and in Toni Morrison's Sula.
