A tool for automated downloading spatial data for the company iParcely.cz s.r.o.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je vytvoření nástroje pro automatizované stahování ma- pových podkladů pro firmu iParcely.cz. Mapové podklady, které se zpracovávají jsou výsledkem měření různých organizací pod státní správou. Proto je nutné se sezná- mit s těmito poskytovateli dat, jejich technologiemi pro zveřejňování prostorových dat a v jakých datových formátech se tato data nacházejí. Ve výsledkové části se na základě funkčních a nefunkčních požadavků rozebírá implementace nástroje, pro kterou se využívá programovací jazyk Python. Klíčová část implementace je vytvo- řit proces pro stahování prostorových dat a jejich následná aktualizace. Výsledkem práce je naimplementovaný nástroj, který shromažďuje prostorová data různých or- ganizací, tato data uchovává aktuální a zároveň udržuje i historická data.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to create a tool for automated downloading of spatial data for the company iParcely.cz. The processed spatial data are the result of data measurement collections by various organizations under the state administration. Therefore, it is necessary to get familiar with these data providers, their publishing technologies for spatial data and data formats they are provided in. The imple- mentation of the proposed tool in the Python programming language is completed according to the functional and non-functional requirements. The key part part of the implementation is to create a process for downloading spatial data and its sub- sequent update. The result of this work is a deployed tool that collects spatial data of various organizations, maintains data up-to-date as well as their out-of-date state management.
