Abstract:

Cílem předmětné diplomové práce je zkoumání a analýza činnosti Severočeského krajského národního výboru se sídlem v Ústí nad Labem v letech 1949-1991, který byl ve své době významným činitelem a určujícím faktorem politického, hospodářského, sociálního a kulturního rozvoje regionu severozápadních Čech. Jakkoli by téma krajských národních výborů zasluhovalo z historického hlediska komplexnější zpracování, snahou diplomové práce bylo především postihnout problematiku koexistence Severočeského krajského národního výboru a města Ústí nad Labem s akcentem na rozhodovací činnost tohoto orgánu, která měla bezprostřední dopad na urbanistický, kulturní a společenský rozvoj města Ústí nad Labem a život jeho obyvatel. V práci nechybí ani uvedení obecné problematiky fungování národních výborů v letech 1945-1991 a rozbor organizační struktury SčKNV. Zvolené téma pak doplňují kapitoly o výstavbě SčKNV a o činnosti některých organizací v působnosti SčKNV. Samotným vyústěním diplomové práce je zhodnocení výše uvedeného vývoje a vize možného budoucího fungování města.

Abstract:

The aim of the subject thesis is to examine and analyse of activities of the North Bohemian Regional Committee based in Ústí nad Labem (hereinafter referred to as "SčKNV") in the years 1949-1991, which was in this time a significant and determining factor in the political, economic, social, and cultural development of the region Northwest Bohemia. Although the topic of regional national committees would have deserved a more comprehensive treatment from a historical point of view, the aim of this thesis was mainly to cover the topic of the coexistence of SčKNV and the towns of Ústí nad Labem with an accent on the decision-making activities of this authority, which had a direct impact on the urban, cultural and social development of the town of Ústí nad Labem and the life of its inhabitants. The thesis also includes a general introduction to the topic of the functioning of national committees in 1945-1991 and the analysis of the organizational structure of the SčKNV. The chosen topic is then complemented by chapters on the construction of SčKNV and the activities of some organizations under the jurisdiction of the SčKNV. The conclusion of the thesis itself is an evaluation of the above developments and a vision of the possible future functioning of the city.
