Analysis and implementation proposal of knowledge base in multilingual organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá znalostním managementem a navržením implementace znalostní báze v nadnárodní mnohojazyčné organizaci. Zkoumá řetězec znalostí, životní cyklus znalosti, přenos znalostí mezi jednotlivci i skupinami, týmy. Zaměřuje se na prostředí nadnárodních organizací a akcentuje trendy v těchto organizacích, jakými jsou globalizace či virtualizace. Práce se zabývá strukturou organizací a strategickým směřováním v souladu s principy učící se organizace, potažmo znalostní organizace. Zaměřuje se na management znalostí v praktické podobě znalostního managementu. Definuje oblasti, které jsou pro aplikaci znalostní báze potřeba, a tyto poznatky prakticky aplikuje na nadnárodní mnohojazyčné organizaci, kde analyzuje její strukturu, současný stav užití znalostní báze a na základě těchto analýz společně s analýzou potřeb klíčových uživatelů definuje optimální model znalostní báze pro tuto organizaci, který je i cílem této práce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focus on knowledge management and the proposal of the knowledge base implementation within the multinational and multilingual organization. It researches the data-information-knowledge string, knowledge lifecycle, knowledge transfer between individuals and groups, teams. The thesis focuses on the multinational organization environment and accent trends in these organizations as globalization or virtualization. The diploma thesis deals with organization structure and strategy in harmony with the principles of the learning organization or knowledge organization. It focuses on the management of knowledge in the practical way within the knowledge management. It defines the areas needed for the knowledge base and these notes practically apply into the multinational and multilingual organization where analyzed its structure and current status of the knowledge base usage. Based on these analyses together with the requirements analysis with key users it defines the optimal model of the knowledge base for this organization which is the target of this diploma thesis.
