Pupils' awareness of health education topics

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá informovaností žáků/žákyň devátých tříd na vybraných základních fakultních školách v Brně o tématech Výchovy ke zdraví. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny pojmy zdraví, determinanty zdraví, zdravotní gramotnost, výchova ke zdraví dále jen (VkZ), kurikulum, kurikulární dokumenty a jejich formy. Dále představuje plánovanou revizi Rámcového vzdělávacího programu pro základní vzdělávání a také učebnice Výchovy ke zdraví. Praktická část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na informovanost žáků posledního ročníku základního vzdělávání na vybraných fakultních školách v Brně, která se týká témat Výchovy ke zdraví. Jedná se o kvantitativní výzkum prostřednictvím didaktického testu, který je převzatý z dokumentu Metodické komentáře a úlohy ke Standardům pro základní vzdělávání – Výchova ke zdraví. Test zjišťuje, jaká je informovanost žáků/žákyň ohledně veškerých témat Výchovy ke zdraví obsažených ve výstupech pro Výchovu ke zdraví v Rámcovém vzdělávacím programu pro základní vzdělávání – Výchova ke zdraví. Dále jsme stanovenými výzkumnými otázkami zjišťovali, jakým způsobem je na školách výuka VkZ realizována a jakou aprobaci mají pedagogové, kteří tento předmět učí. Dle realizovaného výzkumu informovanost žáků není zcela dostatečná.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the awareness of ninth grade pupils in selected primary faculty schools in Brno on the topics of Health Education. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, the concepts of health, determinants of health, health literacy, health education (HRE), curriculum, curriculum documents and their forms are defined. It also presents the planned revision of the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education and the Health Education textbook. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the awareness of pupils of the last year of primary education in selected faculty schools in Brno, which is related to the topics of Education for Health. It is a quantitative research through a didactic test, which is taken from the document Methodological comments and tasks to the Standards for Primary Education - Health Education. The test determines the pupils' awareness of all the Health Education topics included in the outcomes for Health Education in the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education - Health Education. Furthermore, we used specific research questions to find out how the teaching of PE is implemented in schools and what qualifications the teachers who teach this subject have. According to the research conducted, pupils' awareness is insufficient.
