Abstract:

Bakalářská práce analyzuje mediální obraz Jaroslava Seiferta na stránkách oficiálních kulturních periodik v rozmezí let 1954-1968. Svou povahou je tedy interdisciplinární, neboť má blízko k literární historii, avšak důraz neklade na básníkovo dílo, jako na proměnu jeho zobrazování a jím prezentované názory či myšlenky, které mnohdy porovnává s deklarovanou ideologicko-estetickou normou komunistického režimu. První část práce popisuje básníkův život, který ve vymezeném období dává do širšího společenského kontextu zejména s ohledem na kulturní politiku a její aplikaci v prostředí Svazu československých spisovatelů. Druhá část analyzuje básníkův mediální obraz ve vybraném tisku (Kulturní noviny, Host do domu, Nový život, Plamen, Kulturní tvorba). Kromě dobové percepce tvorby sleduje proměnu zobrazování Seiferta jako člena meziválečné avantgardy a dále se zaměřuje na jeho projevy vlastenecké povahy zachycené v tisku. Práce kombinuje metodu kvalitativní obsahové analýzy s metodou hermeneutickou analýzy obsahu mediálních sdělení.

Abstract:

The thesis analyses media image of the Czech poet and Nobel Prize winner Jaroslav Seifert in official cultural periodicals in the years 1954-1968. The character of the thesis is interdisciplinary, because it is on the edge of history of literature, but concentration is on the transformation of image and presented Siefert’s ideas and opinions, which puts into context of ideological-aesthetic norms of communist regime in the 50s and 60s. First part describes poet’s life, extends defined period of social context with a focus on cultural politics and Czech Socialist Writers’ Union, which has transformed in the reform movement during 60s. Second part of thesis analyses poet’s media image, reflecting his works, participation at interwar avant-garde and his suggestions of patriotism in the press. The thesis combines the method of qualitative content analysis with hermeneutic analysis.
