Management of the MNC in the international environment

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce „Management nadnárodní společnosti v mezinárodním prostředí“ je analýza vztahu v rámci koncernu ARJOWIGGINS SAS, při aplikaci teoretických principů nadnárodních společností. První část práce poskytuje teoretický vhled do problematiky, s důrazem na moderní doporučené přístupy vedení a organizace nadnárodních firem, které jsou zasazeny do kontextu specifického interkulturálního prostředí. Druhá část je věnována analýze případové studie zvoleného koncernu z hlediska organizačního, správního a z hlediska interkulturálních dopadů. Byla zvolena metoda empirického výzkumu (strukturovaný rozhovor), která poskytuje cenné informace a poznatky. Ekonomické zhodnocení ArjoWiggins s.r.o. bylo provedeno metodou analytického review s ohledem na poznatky získané v průběhu práce, finanční analýzu a s ohledem na výzkumné otázky. Následuje samostatná úvaha autora nad konfrontací teoretického přístupu s realitou případové studie.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: “Management of the MNC in the international environment” is to analyze group ARJOWIGGINS SAS, while applying the main principles of Multinational Companies. The theoretical part presents a theoretical overview of international management’s issues and it emphasizes the modern recommended approaches to management of MNC, which are in a context of the specific intercultural environment. The second part is concentrated on analysis of the chosen case study focusing on organizational, managing and intercultural point of view. As a method it was used an empirical research (structured interview) to gain the precious information from the both managements’opinions. The economical evaluation of ArjoWiggins s.r.o. was performed by using the method of analytical review and using information obtained throughout the thesis, financial analysis and with relevance to the research questions. The conclusion is represented by the author’s reflection, where she confronts the theoretical approach with the reality of the case study.
