Industrial railways in Ostrava region
Abstract:
Ostravsko je typické svým industriálním zaměřením. V největší míře se zde nachází hutnický a strojírenský průmysl. Velice podstatná je také těžba uhlí. V souvislosti s průmyslovým a hospodářským rozvojem regionu docházelo ke stavbě železnic pro nákladní účely. The region of Ostrava is characteristic for its industry. There are steel and engeneering industries. Coal mining is very important as well. Industry and economic boom is connected with building cargo railroads.
