Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce "Vztahy Španělska a Venezuely za Huga Cháveze v letech 1999-2007 pohledem španělského tisku" se zabývá vzájemnými vztahy obou zemí ve sledovaném období. Toto období bylo vybráno proto, jelikož v roce 1999 začal Hugo Chávez Venezuele vládnout a Iberoamerický summit z roku 2007 byl důležitou událostí ve vztahu obou zemí. Práce má čtyři části. V první části se čtenář informuje o historii Venezuely před nástupem Cháveze, navazující část popisuje jeho politiku. Třetí část se zabývá samotnými vztahy mezi oběma zeměmi a poslední část analyzuje Chávezovu politiku z pohledu nejčtenějších španělských deníků El País a El Mundo.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Relations between Spain and Hugo Chávez Venezuela in the period of 1999-2007 in the view of Spanish printmedia" deals with the mutual relationships between both countries in that period. That period was chosen because Chávez started to rule in Venezuela in 1999 and the Ibero-American Summit from 2007 was an important event in the relation of both countries. The thesis has four main parts. The first one informs about the history of Venezuela before Chávez, the next one describes his politics. The thirt part deals with the relations between the two states and the last part analyses Chávez politics in the view of the bestknown Spanish newspapers El País and El Mundo.
