Using poetry therapy in developing communicative competences in people with mental impairment

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi využití některých technik poetoterapie v oblasti rozvoje komunikačních schopností lidí s mentálním postižením. První část práce se věnuje vymezení pojmů jako jsou mentální retardace a osoby s mentálním postižením, které jsou propojeny s tématem řeč a komunikace. Tuto teoretickou část uzavírá uvedení do jedné z expresivních terapií- poetoterapie a do možností jejího využití. Druhá část práce popisuje výzkum realizovaný mezi klienty v domově pro osoby s mentálním postižením. Kvalitativně orientované výzkumné šetření formou zpracovaných kasuistik nabízí pohled do možností využití některých poetoterapeutických technik u cílové skupiny jedinců s mentálním postižením

Abstract:

The bachelor work deal with possibilities of using some poetry therapy techniques in field of developing communicative competences in people with mental impairment. The fist part attend to determination of terms such as mental retardation and people with mental impairment, which are connected to speech and communication themes. In the end of this theoretical part, there is an introduction to one of expressive therapy - the poetry therapy and possible way of using this. The second part describes research work performed at institution for people with mental impairment. Qualitative research is executed by making case reports, offers view of using some poetry therapy techniques in people with mental impairment
