Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem ?Alternativní a augmentativní komunikace? seznamuje v teoretické části s pojmy komunikace, komunikační schopnost, narušená komunikační schopnost, narušená komunikační schopnost při zdravotním postižení a s přehledem systémů alternativní a augmentativní komunikace a dalšími metodami zaměřenými na rozvoj komunikace a čtenářských dovedností. Každý pojem je charakterizován v samostatné kapitole. Druhá výzkumná část vychází z teoretických poznatků předešlých kapitol a prezentuje výsledky výzkumného šetření. Obsahuje stanovený cíl, výzkumné otázky, charakteristiku výzkumného prostředí, kazuistické studie jednotek z výzkumného souboru, analýzu pozorování zpracovanou v tabulkách a vyhodnocenou v grafech se slovním popisem. Výzkumný soubor tvoří deset zkoumaných jednotek ze základní školy speciální. V průběhu výzkumu byl použit smíšený třífázový model výzkumu. Nejprve byly určeny výzkumné otázky, potom shromažďována data o výzkumných jednotkách, dále následovala kvalitativní a kvantitativní analýza. Z výzkumu vyplynuly odpovědi na výzkumné otázky.

Abstract:

In the theoretical part of this thesis called ?Alternative and augmentative communication?, the following terms are introduced: communication, capability of communication, exacerbated capability of communication, and exacerbated capability of communication of handicapped people. The thesis also presents overview of systems of alternative and augmentative communication and it lists other methods focused on improvement of communication and enlargement of reading capabilities. A separate chapter is dedicated to each of these terms. The other part of the thesis ? research ? is based on the theoretical part, its chapters and precise definitions, and it demonstrates the results of a fieldwork research. This part defines objective of the research, research questions, characteristics of research environment, casuistic studies of members of the research unit, and, finally, analysis of observation results which are presented in tables and interpreted and commented in graphs. Research unit contains ten members from elementary remedial school. During the research itself, a mixed three-stage research model was used. First of all, research questions were defined; then, research unit data were collected, and, eventually, it was quantitative and qualitative analysis that finished the research. The whole process of research gave answers to all the research questions.
