Setting and use of budgets in a selected company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá sestavováním a využitím rozpočtů ve vybraném podniku poskytujícím služby. Hlavním cílem této práce je navrhnout strukturu jednotlivých rozpočtů pro vybraný podnik tak, aby poskytovaly informace důležité k efektivnímu rozhodování. V teoretické části jsou představeny základní pojmy, charakteristiky různých typů rozpočtů a výkazy hlavního podnikového rozpočtu. Dále je v teoretické části popsán současný stav rozpočetnictví v České republice. Praktická část začíná představením vybraného podniku a současného stavu rozpočtování. Následně je popsána mise a vize podniku a provedena SWOT analýza. Poté jsou sestaveny rozpočtová výsledovka, rozpočet peněžních toků a rozpočtová rozvaha. Závěrem jsou shrnuta doporučení pro sledovanou společnost.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the setting and use of budgets in a selected company providing services. The main goal of this thesis is to design a structure of individual budgets for the selected company so that they provide information important for effective decision-making. In the theoretical part, basic concepts, characteristics of different types of budgets and statements of the main corporate budget are presented. Furthermore, the current state of budgeting in the Czech Republic is described in the theoretical part. The practical part begins with a presentation of the selected company and the current state of budgeting. Subsequently, the mission and vision of the company is described and a SWOT analysis is carried out. Then the budget income statement, cash flow budget and budget balance sheet are drawn up. Finally, there is a summary of the recommendations for the selected company.
