Není pochyb, že pojem hypoteční úvěr již na českém bankovním trhu zdomácněl. V belgickém pojetí má ovšem tento typ úvěrového produktu podstatně hlubší kořeny. V nedávné minulosti jsme byli svědky doslova strhujícího a v západní Evropě dosud nevídaného rozvoje hypotečního financování na tuzemském trhu.
